Why have we only just opened our
headquarters?
Since we now have reached the stage where a central coordinating
office is a logical progression – and since legislative changes
at the national level in Indonesia dictate that we come into
compliance as a restructured organisation – we have just opened
our new headquarters, with a reconstituted legal entity known as
Yayasan Sumbangsih Nuansa Indonesia (YSNI) (we were
formerly known as Yayasan Perisai Biru). These central
offices are now located in the West Java city of Bandung. Our
staff there, who have extensive experience in grass-roots
training and NGO work, will be taking advantage of this central
location to expand our network and develop our public profile,
in addition to strengthening our capacities by way of training
and empowerment activities.
