Apart from its
four operational units, SNT also is very concerned to maintain robust
administrative as well as human resources departments.
With this, we can administer our programmes with greater
efficiency, with a view toward maximising impact. Feel free

Additionally, to find out a

Although we operate in these four sectors, we
do not see our work as demarcated by these boundaries. In fact, a
glance at some of our programmes will show how, though we tend to
begin in a particular community with a specific focus, we very
soon find opportunities for the further involvement on the part of another
unit.
Thus in
Purbaratu,
our agriculture unit is working with local handicraft producers
in order to stabilise the market for raw materials to local
farmers.
In
Gobras, our
agriculture unit was able to introduce the wives of the farmers
with whom they were partnering to our community health workers.
In
Kahuripan, our
initial involvement was a broad focus training of community
health volunteers across a population of around 15,000. As we
have begun to go deeper, our education unit has plans to work
with several Community Learning Groups, in one specific neighbourhood.
