Indonesia is famous for its fine batik. Only some regions on
the island of Java are known to have their own distinct
tradition and style of batik, Tasikmalaya is one of them. We
particularly aim to support stamped (cap) and
hand-drawn (tulis) batik that are produced in the
backyard of the artisans’ homes and in very small cottage
industries to help sustain the vanishing art. We use
only fine cotton and silk for our products.
